Advanced Research on Internal Combustion Engines and Engine Fuels

چکیده

Internal combustion (IC) engines serve as power devices that are widely applied in the fields of transport, engineering machinery, stationary generation, etc., and evolving towards goal higher efficiency lower environmental impacts. In this Editorial, role IC for future transport energy systems is discussed, research directions advancing engine fuel technologies recommended. Finally, we introduce 14 technical papers collected Special Issue, which cover a wide range topics, including diesel spray characteristics, low- zero-carbon fuels, advanced mode, additive effects, operation under extreme conditions materials manufacturing processes.
